Frank Roncadori

Professor Frank started training Taekwondo at the age of 10. Just like any young boy he needed discipline and a way to channel his energy and frustrations. Frank achieved a rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt and won a National Championship in Taekwondo prior to changing his focus to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. After being exposed to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu he realized that his Taekwondo background did nothing for him if the fight ended up on the ground, as the majority of fights do. At this time he started training and studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. After consistent training for 10 years he received his black belt from Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and placed second in his first international competition only 6 months later. On his path to black belt he won several tournaments including U.S. Nationals as a Purple Belt and multiple Atlanta Opens as a Brown Belt. In 2019 he opened Gracie Barra Greystone, AL with his business partners Kaliffa Oliveira and Paulo Santana with the intent to help spread Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and all of its benefits to the city he grew up in.
